Governance

Network Consortium (NC)

The NC will include at least one representative of each beneficiary (consortium partner). Each beneficiary can also appoint proxy representatives to fulfil the need to deal with specific consortium issues, e.g. finances. The NC will take strategic decisions concerning the overall direction of the ERA-NET SusAn and on issues with financial implications based on information provided by the Coordinator. NC decisions will be taken by simple majority with casting vote for the Coordinator, in the case of equality of votes.

Annual NC meetings following the kick-off workshop will be organised by the Coordinator.

The representatives are typically from research or agriculture ministries, research funding organisations or major research performing organisations that have the authority to take strategic decisions and engage resources from national research funds.
